Overview

The annual US-China Youth Forum on Global Education (UCYF) convenes hundreds of students, teachers and school leaders from across China, the United States and Europe to discuss pressing issues in global education.


UCYF 2020 will be held on Saturday, 25 April 2020 at Keystone Academy in Beijing.

Brainstorming solutions to global education issues

Students are divided into mixed groups to identify a specific problem related to one of ten global education issues, any barriers that prevent this problem from being resolved, potential solutions for overcoming these barriers to achieve more positive educational outcomes and the impact these solutions will have on society.

EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS

Best practices for implementing global learning

Educators will workshop five core topic areas, with guest presentations on each to facilitate discussion in breakout groups. Each group crowdsources and discusses comparative questions regarding each topic and the most popular questions are voted up for discussion by the whole group.

Keystone Academy

Keystone Academy is an innovative and unique school in China and the world. It draws from Chinese, American and International learning traditions and weaves them into a powerful bilingual education model. The curriculum is bilingual in the primary years with more intensive instruction in English through middle and high schools. Keystone's academic program is international in scope with a strong and intentional central Chinese focus on national identity, language, culture, and history.
